The Disaggregation of Networks is Already Happening

The service providers' economic model hasn’t changed in years. Lower CapEx of new IP routers built on traditional models will not fundamentally change it either. Conversely, disaggregated networks and the separation of hardware and software based on standard networking white boxes, offer the economic benefits of hyperscale clouds, promoting higher scale at much lower CapEx and OpEx.

Several industry players are trying to downplay these benefits and the traction that disaggregation is receiving from service providers. However, a recent study conducted by Heavy Reading indicates that network operators expect to make radical changes to their IP networks in relation to disaggregation.

In this webinar, you'll learn about the key findings from network operators’ plans and strategies for disaggregating their IP networks and learn from top customer use cases of network disaggregation.

"CSPs can now build high-scale converged infrastructures that support any service on any port, with cloud-native software and microservices. Such a disaggregated approach can scale higher than any traditional approach, at a much lower TCO."
